Policy Overview

At Buckeye Cypress Development, LLC, we are committed to delivering exceptional development and construction services. Due to the nature of our business involving custom development projects, site preparation, and infrastructure solutions, our return and refund policy is structured to protect both our clients and our business operations.

Service Agreements

All projects undertaken by Buckeye Cypress Development are governed by detailed service agreements that outline the scope of work, timelines, payment schedules, and deliverables. These agreements are legally binding contracts that specify the terms and conditions of our services.

  • All service agreements must be signed by both parties before work commences
  • Changes to the scope of work require written amendments to the original agreement
  • Payment terms are clearly defined in each service agreement

Deposit Returns

Initial deposits are required for most projects to secure scheduling and cover preliminary planning costs. The refundability of deposits depends on the stage of the project and the terms outlined in your service agreement.

Refundable Deposits

  • Deposits may be fully refundable if cancellation occurs before any work has commenced
  • Written notice of cancellation must be provided at least 14 business days before the scheduled start date
  • Refunds will be processed within 30 business days of approved cancellation

Non-Refundable Deposits

  • Once work has commenced, deposits are non-refundable
  • Deposits used for materials procurement, permits, or subcontractor scheduling are non-refundable
  • Design and planning fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered

Cancellation Terms

Clients have the right to cancel projects under certain conditions. However, cancellation may result in fees to cover work already completed and costs incurred.

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or certified mail
  • Clients are responsible for payment of all work completed up to the cancellation date
  • Materials ordered specifically for your project are non-refundable and must be paid for
  • A cancellation fee of 15% of the remaining contract value may apply

Exceptions

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Exceptions to our return policy may be considered in the following situations:

  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, government actions, etc.)
  • Failure by Buckeye Cypress Development to meet contractual obligations
  • Mutual agreement between both parties to terminate the contract
